PreS?Each of these board books identifies 10 different animals and features basic information delivered from the creatures' point of view, e.g., in Babies, "I am a baby kangaroo. I keep growing tucked away in my mother's pouch." Sharp, full-color photographs illustrate the texts. The excellent quality of the photos and brevity of information make these titles appropriate for young children, but they're not quite for the same audience as Tana Hoban's "First Book" series (Greenwillow), which features a single word per page. Not essential purchases, but nice additions.?Emily Kutler, Summit Free Public Library, NJ Copyright 1998 Reed Business Information, Inc
