内容提要 It was time for a little bunny to be on the move. From here tothere, a bunny goes where a bunny must." 目录 暂无 作者介绍 Peter McCarty is the author and illustrator of T Isfor Terrible, Baby Steps, and Hondo and Fabian, for which he won a Caldecott Honor. He lives with his wife and twochildren in Upstate New York. 文摘 媒体推荐 "Bunny on the Move" by Peter McCarty is an unforgettable picturebook depicting a bunny who moves from page to page, past a varietyof animals to get back to his family. The bunny is not lost. Heknows he must get home, and although a pig, cow, and sheep, andeven a friendly little girl try to divert his attention, he is abunny with a mission. "This bunny would not look back. This bunnyhad come a long way." The last page tells us "this bunny did have ahome, This bunny did have a place to stay." The illustrations arereminiscent of a dream. The colors used are gray and white, withtinges of yellow and pink. The bunny and animal shapes are soft andpowdery, the light source seems to illuminate the foregroundimages. This text is very simple, adding even more emphasis to theunusual and unique depictions. This is an excellent bedtime choicefor children 2-8 years of age, and merits the top of my list forquality picturebooks of 1999. |
